Day 1: ARRIVAL

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport meet & greet by your driver guide and proceed to accommodation about 7 minutes away.

Day 2 : LONG DRIVE TO KIDEPO VALLEY NP

Today we embark on a whole day drive to kidepo Valley National Park making stop overs for lunch and anything exciting along the way.

Day 3 : GAME DRIVE

After breakfast you’ll head out for a safari looking out for mammals like the graceful Giraffe, Uganda Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthog, and when lucky a Lion and Cheetah among others.

Day 4 : KARAMOJA VISIT AND SIGHT SEEING

The Karamajong are Nilotic people who are commonly pastoralists with Kalengin roots.

Today you will visit their manyattas (small Villages) and get to see how they live in the houses where you have to bend to enter through a small entrance. You will also enjoy their traditional dance which involves high jumping. This will be one of the highlights of your time in Uganda.

Day 5 : LONG DRIVE TO MURCHISON FALLS NP

Today we head to Murchison Falls National park driving along scenic rocky hills, small towns and several road side markets. We will be arriving at our destination late in the evening.

Day 6 : GAME DRIVE AND BOAT LAUNCH

After Breakfast; proceed for a game drive with your packed lunch. After lunch, you will go for the boat trip up to the bottom of the falls and it is possible to view hundreds of hippos, crocodile, and a variety of bird life. Look out for game like the graceful Roth child Giraffe, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Bushbuck, Defassa Water buck, Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthog, Oribi and when lucky a leopard and Lion among others.

Day 7 : TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK NP

After breakfast, drive southwards to Kibale area in Toro Kingdom . The drive will take you through Hoima, Kagadi, and Kyenjojo among other places.

Day 8 : COMMUNITY WALK/CHIMP TRACKING THEN TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Kibale National Park is one of the rain forests in Uganda and is famous for its primates and chimp tracking. t is home to 13 primate species making it the number one protected area with the biggest primate numbers on the African continent. These primates include Chimpanzee, Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Red-tailed Monkey, Grey-cheeked Mangabey among others.

While here you can choose to go for a community cultural walk and learn more about the way of life of the indigenous Batoro tribe like iron smelting, traditional medicines, basket weaving, to mention but a few.

Day 9 : GAME DRIVE AND BOAT IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NP

Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest national park covering an area of 1978 sq. km.

 

A cup of tea or coffee and a muffin at 6:15 am in the lounge and set off for a safari with our packed lunches. In the afternoon go for the boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, to see a variety of wildlife, hundreds of hippos, crocodile and bird life from a boat for two hours. Look out for mammals like Uganda Kob, Bushbuck, Defassa Water buck, Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthog, when lucky a leopard, spotted Hyena and Lion among others.

Day 10 : DRIVE TO BWINDI AND BATWA WALK

After breakfast and with our packed lunches, we will head to Bwindi as you are enjoying the view of the spectacular hills in the southwestern region of Uganda. We will make stop overs for anything exciting that we come across and on arrival head out for the Batwa walk where you will learn about the way of life and culture of the indigenous people like how they used to hunt for food, cook it, make fire and enjoy their cultural dances among other activities.

Day 11 : GORILLA TREKKING AND NATURE WALK

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of those nature's unspoiled National Parks found in south western Uganda covering an area of 331 sq. km. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has vast diversity of mammals and birds species and is  home to a number of endangered wildlife species like the Mountain Gorillas. 

After an early breakfast, start gorilla tracking at 8:00 a.m. and we recommend you to wear good walking shoes and carry a good rain gear and enough drinking water. Tracking can be tough and challenging and so we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch with you into the forest and you will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee) and the return journey could be easier.

Alternatively, you can go for a nature walk and enjoy the various breath taking water falls  and plant life in this dense forest.

Day 12 : DRIVE TO NSHENYI CULTURAL VILLAGE

Long drive to Bushenyi district and final destination will be Nshenyi cultural village a home to the Banyankole tribe located in the South West of Uganda. These people are mainly pastoralists with lots of Long-horned Ankole cows and also do extensive  farming. We will arrive in the late afternoon then get familiar with their ways of living.

Day 13 : CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Here you will experience Agro-Tourism from the Cultural perspective of the Banyankore people. Activities here include milking cows, harvesting honey, milk processing, participate in tree planting, nature walks and cultural dance entertainment.

Day 14 : DRIVE TO ENTEBBE

Uganda is gifted by nature and so you will be able to enjoy beautiful scenery en-route to Entebbe and will  stop at the Equator for a photographic opportunity at the point where the Equator line crosses Uganda. .

Day 15 : DEPARTURE

Today you will transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight.
